VEL罿QUEZ, Diego Rodriguez de Silva y (b. 1599, Sevilla, d. 1660, Madrid) Portrait of Philip IV (fragment) 1657-60 Oil on canvas, 40,5 X 32,5 cm Museo de Bellas Artes, Bilbao Vel醶quez painted over 20 portraits of Philip IV, some representing the king standing, some other on horseback. All portraits follow the prototypes in the Prado and the National Gallery, London.
