PACHECO, Francisco (b. 1564, Sanl鷆ar de Barrameda, d. 1644, Sevilla) Pedro de Campa馻 (Pieter Kempeneer) 1600-1620 Engraving Museo L醶aro Galdiano, Madrid In addition to the Arte de la pintura, another example of Pacheco's endeavour to ennoble painting is the Libro de descripci髇 de verdaderos retratos de ilustres y memorables varones, which was never published during his lifetime. The book is a compilation of splendid portraits of famous men, who were mostly from Seville.
